Born in Ukraine, I discovered my passion for the IT sector at a young age. My initial venture into web development came during high school, where I created a website for my final exam. Despite the challenges of the site's image galleries overloading the school PCs, I gained crucial insights into quality optimization, performance, and testing—insights that continue to guide my work. While my university studies and early career initially diverged from web development, I eventually found my way back to my preferred field. Today, I thrive on solving complex problems and developing innovative web solutions, driven by passion and enjoyment, not just financial incentives.
Skills
There is no limit to perfection. I never can say that I know something for 100%, because I will lie. You can always find something more to learn, to improve. Never stop learning and absorbing knowledge while alive.
Certification
Each of those certificates has its own story and is valuable for me.
Adobe Certified Master - Adobe Commerce Architect (Adobe Commerce)
This one certification was the most complex. First I prepare to pass the previous version of Adobe Master Architect certification (AD0-E704), where answers to all questions were easy to find in devdocs and study guides. But then this exam was retired and I faced a new one: AD0-E718 Adobe Commerce Architect Master. This was completely unexpected and I failed the exam on the first attempt by answering 25 questions from 29 required to pass. It was complex to answer the questions in this test without detailed preparation. All questions push you to think about the right solution instead of just remembering application code parts/specification. On the second attempt, I was able to pass this test with correct answers to 30 questions from 29 required to pass.
Show StoryAdobe Certified Expert - Adobe Commerce Developer (Adobe Commerce)
This certification, AD0-E716 Adobe Commerce Developer Expert, must have for any Adobe Commerce developer. It helps you to confirm your skills and validate your knowledge. This test was not complex and I was able to pass it on the first attempt without any specific preparation. The result was 51 correct answers on questions from the 41 required to pass the test.
Show StoryAdobe Certified Expert - Adobe Commerce Front End Developer (Adobe Commerce)
This certification was unexpected to me. I scheduled to pass FrontEnd developer certification but planned to do this later. One day I was invited by Adobe to participate workshop on the development of new questions for certification. This participation could help me to renew my expiring certification and I had my Professional developer certification expiring soon, that's why I requested participation without any doubt. Tests were ready in around one month of participation. My input was: the support with questions validation and the development of 2 new questions related to Adobe Cloud. Believe me, this was not easy to prepare questions for FrontEnd developers related to Adobe Cloud. But this was a great experience which helped me to meet great people and confirm my FrontEnd skills.
Show StoryAdobe Certified Professional - Adobe Commerce Developer (Adobe Commerce)
This is my first received certification, received once I focused on Magento development. I prepared and was afraid to pass this certification test because didn't know how it is going and what I can expect. Initially, this was Magento 2 Certified Associate Developer certification. I was proud of myself once passed this certification and understood that this is the beginning and I still need to learn a lot. My certificate migrated like Adobe Certified Professional - Adobe Commerce Developer and was successfully renewed. This is the easiest certification level, but it was first for me and this makes it no less valuable than others.
Show StoryASM-E720 Adobe Commerce Front End Developer Expert (Adobe Commerce)
This is not a real certification. It didn't require any tests to pass. This is more badge received from Adobe and confirms that I took part in some awesome actions. This record was included in my credly account and active certifications list on the Adobe certmetrics website. This story is related to the FrontEnd developer certification described above, but here I can add that I waited for it for a long time. I didn't receive any feedback after workshop participation was complete and sent an email with a request to explain if I will get any results after participation to Adobe. Then in a few weeks, I received all the promised benefits and felt shame that didn't wait a little bit more.
